CGI2013LivniIsrael’s Justice Minister and peace negotiator Tzipi Livni, at the Clinton Global Initiative.

While speaking at CGI, Sheryl Sandberg, COO Facebook, suggested that the world would be a more peaceful place if women were leading it. That view flies in the face of the growing wreckage wrought, this century, by American Foreign policy (wars, revolutions & assassinations)—all supported, even pushed for, by powerful women.

For Ms. Livni to realize a good outcome in her work, for Jews and Palestinians, she’ll have to set aside the material mindset of Marxist Feminism and Zionism, both of which eclipse the way of peace. We hope she’s successful.

Merciful Father, much do we ask of Thee on this holy day; for many and great are our needs, and in Thee alone do we put our trust. But all possessions are vain unless we show obedience to Thy Law of salvation. Everything earthly is transient; the grass withereth, the flower fadeth and only Thy Word remaineth for ever. So we would pray Thee to open our hearts to the understanding of Thy Law, that in Thy light we may see light. O may Thy Law be ever a lamp to our feet, a light to our path, and beauty be manifest in our lives. Great peace have they who love Thy Law, and nothing can make them stumble. And as we, on this day of Memorial, send up our prayers to the Throne of Thy mercy, so Thou hearken unto us, and grant us whatever will ennoble our lives, whatever will create and preserve the serenity of our souls, whatever will make us faithful to Thee in this life, and win for us eternal reward hereafter. Amen. The Standard Machsor, (Bloch Publishing Company, 1925)

“Brothers and sisters: It was not through the law that the promise was made to Abraham and his descendants that he would inherit the world, but through righteousness that comes from faith. For this reason, it depends on faith, so that it may be a gift, and the promise may be guaranteed to all his descendants, not to those who only adhere to the law but to those who follow the faith of Abraham, who is the father of all of us, as it is written, I have made you the father of many nations.” Romans 4:13, 16
