Type A is a creative collaboration between Adam Ames (photo left) and Andrew Bordwin that among other things creates shooting range ‘targets’ as art objects.
The targets feature actual people (the artists themselves, their colleagues or acquaintances) photographed life-size, in staged crime scenes and menacing attitudes.
This photo was made at an exhibition called Being American that included some of Type A’s targets.
According to Mr. Ames, a commercial target manufacter in Minnesota, Law Enforcement Targets, has sold over 100,00 targets with Type A’s images.
