The ‘tyranny of the majority’ is asserting itself. According to CBS News 53% of Americans think it should be legal for same-sex people to marry and 53% favor not restricting assault rifles.
A society built on data and egoism is without a reference point for knowing how to judge right and wrong. The resulting disequilibrium is multiplied by technology and willfulness, which doesn’t bode well for children and society.
